ADD has created the record verification process to help address Tax Assessor- Collector questions about the authenticity of out-of-state records accessed by Texas tow operators and VSFs through ADD’s DMV123 state record search.

As of July 1, 2012, all California dealers who sell used cars are required to obtain a NMVTIS vehicle history report for every used car on their lot, and post a red warning label on the vehicle if a title brand or salvage history is found. While the new California law is aimed at protecting consumers from purchasing less than desirable vehicles without full disclosure, pulling a vehicle history from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) is a smart thing to do for all dealers – not just those in California.

ADD’s wonderful customer service representatives answer you DPO questions! I had to send a Good Faith Letter but I didn’t get a response. What do I do now? If law enforcement does not respond to your Good Faith Letter you may continue with your auction. You will still run your newspaper ad as you would for any other vehicle, as well as attach a Good Faith Letter Affidavit to your packet.
