During the 2015 legislative session, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) included language in CS/HB 7055 that increases fines for curbstoning from $100 to $500 per violation. The bill also allows the governing authority that authorizes the tow of a curbstoned vehicle to keep the fines collected.

Likewise, law enforcement is finding benefit in the data and using it more than ever. States like Georgia, Mississippi, North and South Carolina have already passed legislation that specifies more frequent reporting to NMVTIS than the 30 days required by federal law.

As an ADD Contact User, you can easily modify ELT user permissions by following these simple steps: After the Contact User logs in, select the ELT tab, then Settings button and finally the User Access Levels option. Clicking on the dropdown arrow in the User Account field will display all the users currently active in the account.
