On June 8, 2015 more than 700 businesses in Florida received an email from the Department of Justice indicating that, while the business had registered for a National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) reporting identification number, no salvage records had been submitted using the assigned reporting ID. The email briefly explained the federal requirement that all businesses that handle five or more junk or salvage vehicles must report those vehicles to the NMVTIS database, and included a detailed attachment explaining NMVTIS, the information required to be reported and the potential fines for non-reporting.

On May 31, 2015, the US Postal Service raised the cost of certified mail delivery fees, and this postage increase will affect ADD’s DPO letter services.
