Customer Service Presents: ADDTag FAQs

The process you’ve grown accustomed to over the last year is entirely the same, but ADD has made some improvements to how they use your screen space and how the toolbar is arranged.
Below we’ll address some of the basic questions you may have about the updated interface:
How do I start an issuance? Click the green new button next to “ADDTag” and you’ll be able to choose which type of issuance you would like to start.
How do I get back to my manifest? You can now click “ADDTag” on the left side of the screen or the golden manifest button to the right of the green new button.
How do I order more temporary tags? On the top toolbar click “Tags” and then “Order Tag Stock”.
My temporary tags or registration decals aren’t printing correctly? What might be wrong? Make sure that you haven’t selected the “fit to page” option or any other printer options that would alter the scale of the document you are printing. Additionally, visit the “Decal Printer Calibration” page to follow the printer calibration instructions or call customer service at 855-300-3455 for further assistance.
I am an EFS customer, how do I order more metal plates? This is requested through the county tax collector or tag office through which you are processing your EFS transactions.
If I am an EFS customer, how do I upload documents? Once you’ve reached the step where you are uploading documents, you can drag and drop single or multi-page PDFs into the document boxes to upload them to the tax collector. A multi-page PDF will get split up into a staging area where you will be able to choose the appropriate page to go into each document box.
Why can’t I amend all of the fields in the EFS transaction after I’ve issued my customer their plate? The VIN, original customer, and acquired date cannot be altered after the plate has been issued to the initial customer. If any of these fields need to be corrected, you must void the deal and reissue the plate.
