You're One Step Away from Real-Time State Searches

You’ve signed up for an account with Auto Data Direct and you think you’re getting the most out of it, but are you really?

Many ADD users don’t realize that in addition to the salvage reporting, vehicle history, temp tags, or certified letters services, they may qualify for access to DMV123, ADD’s real-time portal to owner and lienholder searches in 30 states. DMV123 gives you instant access to real-time motor vehicle records in more states than any other service of its kind.

Information on each record can vary from state to state, but for most states, the data available includes:

  • Title information
  • Owner
  • Registrant
  • Lienholder
  • Insurance data
  • Registration data
  • Vehicle details

Depending on each business' qualifications under the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), auto dealerships, towing companies, salvage and recycling businesses and insurers may be able to access state owner and lienholder information for the following purposes:

  • To verify the accuracy of personal information submitted by an individual, to obtain the correct information for the purposes of preventing fraud or recovering on a debt.

  • For use in providing notice to the owners of towed or impounded vehicles.

  • For use by any insurer or insurance support organization, or by a self-insured entity in connection with claims investigation activities, antifraud activities, rating or underwriting.

So what’s the hold up? Just click the Search DMV123 tab in your account, then the Vehicle Query tab and select **Sign Up for DMV123**. Follow the steps to add DMV123 to your account and get a fast, efficient and cost- effective way to get the vehicle records you need from over half of the DMVs, nationwide. You have to complete one more form (to ensure the security of these federally protected records), but it’s a little bit of paperwork for a whole lot of information.
