Upcoming Changes For SC, NV & GA ELT Customers
for Auto Dealers and Financial on Thursday, July 13, 2017 by Joe KalickiAuto Data Direct’s Electronic Lien and Title system allows you to manage liens that you have recorded via a convenient, simple interface that allows you to quickly order paper titles, satisfy liens, or even generate repossession paperwork easily and quickly.
There are several notable changes to the use of Electronic Lien and Title records in South Carolina, Nevada, and Georgia as of this summer:
As of 7/31/2017 , enrollment in the ELT program in South Carolina is mandatory for anyone recording liens on 5 or more vehicles. Click here to download the South Carolina ELT application.
As of 7/1/2017 , enrollment in the ELT program in Nevada is mandatory for any company recording liens. Click here to download the Nevada ELT application. The DMV will no longer process non-ELT titles from dealers or financial institutions as of September 1, 2017.
Mopeds and off-highway vehicles are included in the ELT program.
- Georgia will be changing their ELT prices beginning 7/1/2017:
- ELT lien notification= $5.75
- ELT lien release, title correction = $0.75
- ELT Convert to Paper = $8.00
In order to get signed up for ELT services, please fill out the appropriate paperwork for your state and Auto Data Direct will submit it on your behalf.
