The new non-profit represents independent vehicle title agents from tag and title services and dealerships across the United States. Auto Data Direct, Inc. (ADD), a Reynolds and Reynolds company, announced today a new partnership with the newly formed National Independent Vehicle Title Agents (NIVTA), a non-profit membership association for independent vehicle title agents from tag and title services and dealerships across the United States.

The acquisitions follow on the heels of ADD’s recent purchase of Opus VTR. Auto Data Direct, Inc. (ADD), a Reynolds and Reynolds company, announced today the acquisition of USA ELT, an electronic lien and titling service, and Florida ETR, a print-on-demand temporary tag provider for automotive and specialty dealers based in Miami, Florida.

Auto Data Direct, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Opus VTR, a leading vehicle titling and registration service provider offering comprehensive software solutions for automotive and specialty dealers, based out of Draper, Utah.

Since 2009 the Junk, Salvage, and Insurance (JSI) industries have been reporting salvage vehicles to NMVTIS in compliance with federal rules. Now the system is being updated to provide better, cleaner, and more meaningful data for the industries that use it. The changes to reporting are slated to go fully into effect mid-January 2023, with a true date to be announced before the end of 2022.

The DOJ recently provided ADD with the attached notice that was issued November 10, 2022 by DOJ for NMVTIS Reporting Entities regarding the importance of timely and accurately reporting junk, salvage and total loss vehicles. The notice is both a reminder about the reporting obligations of NMVTIS entities and to help ensure that consumers are aware of the dangers associated with flood-damaged automobiles.
